Né a Montréal (Canada), Micha est un peintre & artiste multidisciplinaire, il a reçu une double formation en art et design sonore et a oeuvré dans le domaine des arts depuis 25 ans (Margie Gillis, Société Radio-Canada, etc...) et a participé à plusieurs festivals internationaux. Micha détient un Doctorat en Art.

Parallèlement sa pratique de plasticien s’inspire de ses voyages et tournées. A la fin des années ’90 il est nommé chef de département du 'Digital Image & Sound programme in the Fine Arts' (Université Concordia de Montréal) puis directeur artistique d’un important centre de recherche pédagogique universitaire (CSLP). Ces œuvres et performances ont été présentées dans plusieurs pays dont le Canada, Japon, Europe, Amérique, Bahamas entre autre.

En 2005 il prend une sabbatique et voyage en Méditerranée sur un voilier avec son épouse et ses trois enfants, sa rencontre avec l'univers méditéranéen, sa lumière et la diversité des peuples ont grandement influencé son oeuvre. Dernierement Micha a beaucoup voyagé au Japon son amour de la culture et traditions nippones ont inspiré une nouvelle série qu'il voit comme une musique visuelle en accord avec le panorama culturel diversifié de la société japonaise.

Son travail plastique prend différents points de vues sociales et culturelles, ayant retenu la diversité des sujets et de signes visuels familiers, il les conçoit dans de nouveaux concepts et thématiques.Il dit:" Le signe visuel comme l’écriture et la musique, est une expression qui a pour fin de communiquer à autrui ce que l’on ne contrôle pas volontairement soi-même mais qui est développé et élaboré au cours du temps…" le rythme et les couleurs de ses voyages ont inspiré ses carnets et c’est dans cette exploration de la mystérieuse simplicité que se traduit le sentiment du naturel.

En 2008, 2009 et 2010 il a participé au Festival International des Beaux arts de Monastir et invité au ‘2nd International Art Festival’ en Grèce. En 2010 et 2011 il fait une exposition de groupe à Paris puis une exposition solo en Tunisie et à Osaka (Japon).

Born in Montreal (Canada), Micha is a multidisciplinary artist, he received double schooling in arts and sound design and has worked in the arts for over 25 years as a teacher and artistic director [Margie Gillis , CBC, among others]. Micha has a Doctorate in Fine Arts.

Meanwhile he continued his practice as an artist and found inspiration in his travels and tours. In the late '90s he was appointed Chair of the 'Digital Image & Sound program in the Fine Arts' (Concordia University) and also artistic director of the CSLP a major university research center. His works and performances have been presented in many countries (Japan, France, Portugal, Canada, Bahamas, etc..)

In 2005 he took a sabbatical and traveled the Mediterranean on a sailboat with his wife and three children, his encounter with the mediteranean universe, its light and diversity of its people inspired his ‘watermedia’ techniques. Lately Micha has also traveled extensively to Japan, his love of Japanese culture and traditions has inspired his latest series of work. This series he hopes are in harmony with the artistic and cultural landscape of this country.

His artwork takes different social and cultural viewpoints. The diversity of his selected topics and familiar visual cues are seen in new concepts and themes. Visual signs much like writing and music are an expression whose purpose is to communicate to others what you do not necessarily control voluntarily, but is developed and elaborated over time ... his tavels inspires his sketch books and it is in this exploration of the mysterious simplicity translated into a sense of naturalness that govern his work.

In 2008, 2009 and 2010 was an honorary guest at the ‘Festival International des Beaux arts de Monastir’ and the 2nd International Art Festival in Greece. " 2010-11 saw a solo exhibition in Tunisia, a group exhibition in Paris and a solo exhibition in Osaka (Japan).

　マルチメディアのアーティストで知られるミシャは、モントリオール（カナダ）の出身です。彼は、芸術とサウンドデザインの両学科をコンコルディア大学（モントリオール）にて学士修得。その芸術学部にて博士号をも取得しました。 25年以上に渡り、教師として、 芸術監督として（マギー＝ギルス、CBCカナダ国営放送等）活躍し続けてきました。

芸術作家として活動を続ける上で、文化の違う国々への旅行や遠征から学ぶものは多くありました。

1995年には彼は、コンコーディア大学 芸術学部 デジタルイメージ＆サウンド科の責任者を任命され、主要大学の研究センターCSLP(Centre for Study of Learning and Performances)に於いては芸術監督としての任務をして遂行していた。

彼の作品やパフォーマンスは、数々の国（日本、フランス、ポルトガル、カナダ、バハマ等）に於いて発表されています

2005年に彼は妻と3人の子供と共にサバティカルを取り、地中海へとヨットでの航海の旅に出た。彼のウォーターメディアの技術はその地中海の陽と、心温まる人々に感化されたものです。

ミシャの日本文化や歴史に対する愛情が、彼を何度も来日させ筆を動かしています。ですから最近の作品には、そんな日本の文化や習慣がハーモナイズされたものが見られます。

彼の芸術作品は、さまざまな社会的、文化的観点の違いを取り入れています 。 そして彼の作品の中には、一つの手法に拘らず様々な手法を使い分け、見慣れたオブジェクトとの調和を組み入れる等、新しいコンセプトやテーマが見いだせるのです。

文書や音楽といった視聴覚的なサインと同様に、絵画を通してもコミュニケーションははかれます。 旅からの発想で生まれた彼のスケッチブックは、 神秘的なシンプルさの探求 からインスピレーションを受けたもので、自然の感性を伝える物です。

2008年2009年と2010年、彼はモナスティア国際芸術祭に、そして第二回ギリシャ国際芸術祭に招待ゲストとして参加。 2010−11年、チュニジアにて個展開催。フランス、パリにてグループ展開催。大阪にて個展開催。
